Baker’s Crust

As Baker’s Crust has matured as a restaurant, so has their design. John and Diane Stein decided it was time to implement a complete marketing brand with their American cuisine. They selected Pilato & Counts to develop a consistent interior to enhance their brand throughout their restaurants. The concept started at the Short Pump location outside of Richmond and continued with their Chesapeake and Williamsburg locations. The intent was to offer people a comfortable atmosphere while giving the client a different scene to enjoy each time they came back to sit in another section of the space.

Bay Creek Resort and Club

When Bay Creek decided to have a Show Home in 2005, they contracted Pilato & Counts to design the interiors of the multi-million dollar home. The hardwood floors were from an 1800′s warehouse, which brought in a rustic feel to contrast with the very elegant trim details. Pilato & Counts worked with Ravenna Mosaics headquartered on the Eastern Shore to add exquisite tile patterns to the bathrooms. The window treatments were made by a local workroom and were intended to frame the windows rather than overpower with detail. The classic design that permeates throughout the home will outlast trends and fads as intended by the owners.
